Urgent Care Visit

Had to go into Urgent Care this morning.

Been having these bad pains in my right hip lately, well ever since I got over the Phnemonia.

When these pains hit, they either keep me awake all night or wake me up from a sound sleep.

Doc said its my syatic (may not be spelled right) nerve.

If it's not better in 5 days then I'll need physcial Therapy.

It's caused from all the sitting around I've done, while I had Phneumonia, and while recovering from it.

Forced To Have Auto Insurance

How is it right or fair that a state should begin forcing the people who live in that state to have auto insurance, even if they are unemployeed, low income or on a fixed budget?

Well thats what is happening in Wisconsin. As of June 1st 2010 everyone must have car insurance.
If caught without car insurance the fine could be $200.00 or higher.

I would like someone to tell me how a person who is unemployeed, low income or on a fixed budget going to afford the auto insurance or the fine?

Insane Drivers

We went to eat at KFC and ended up having to go to the police department!

After leaving KFC, mom went to change lanes, she checked all her mirrors twice, and there were no cars coming, but then as she started to pull over, there was suddenly a car in the lane she was trying to get into.
Our car didn't hit the other car, and no one was hurt, thank God.

But then that other car started following us! Followed us for like a freakin' hour. We were afraid to go home or go to grandma's house.
So we ended up going to the police station. And the idiot driver followed us there!

Driver of the other car claimed she was following us to see if there was any damage to her car, cause she claimed mom forced her up onto the curb.
The car didn't go up onto the curb, and hello if the driver was the worried about damage to her car, pull over and check, instead of driving around for an hour!

Damn Doctors & April 1st

Dang doctors gave me 5 medications that shouldn't be taken together, so now I'm having an allergic reaction!

I got Grandma today with the very same April Fool's Day joke she always used on my mom & aunt and then on me.

She'd say to us "look it's snowing!" and like damn fools we'd run to the window.

It even reached the point where we knew she'd do it, and yet, we still ran to the window to look.

Well today I got Grandma with "look it's snowing!" ROFLMAO

Health Update & More

Well after 5 hospital stays in 3 weeks, I think I'm finally starting to get a little bit better.

The whole problem is, when you're in the hospital, as soon as you start to show the tiniest sign of improvement, they send you home, whether you should be sent home or not.

And that's what was happening with me.

And to make matters worse, mom has to come up with a huge balloon payment on the morgage or they will start forclosing, next week!

We have no idea where or how we'll stop this from happening.

If you pray, please pray for us to keep our home, we have no where else but the streets to go to.

Health Part 5 DAMN DOCTORS!

MARCH SUCKS!

Damn Doctors. Stupid Prednisone makes peoples blood sugar go up.

It made mine go up. And now I might end up being diabetic....!

The doctor knew that there are a lot of diabetics in my family! But he gave it to me anyway!

I read online that sometimes, once the Prednisone is out of your system, your blood sugar goes back to normal and you aren't diabetic. ***PRAYS HARD**** So please God let that happen to me.

Plus, I've either pulled a muscle in my stomach, from coughing so hard, or a urnia.....

OR

I might have Ovarian Cysts. Because I've been having this pain in my stomach.

But I'm thinking it's just a pulled muscle....cause a couple times when I was coughing really really hard, there was a sharp pull, go through my stomach.

Health Part 4

Well Sunday, mom took me into Urgent Care, and they admitted me right away.

I was in the hospital Sunday night & Monday night.

Just got home a few hours ago.

Still not one single diganosis.

And some of the medications the doctor sent home with me, according to their info sheets, I can't take cause of what they say is wrong, or because of other medications I am all ready taking.

So tomorrow we gotta go to the pharmacy and ask about these new meds.

UGH! Doctors!

They sent me home with 2 different anti-botics for phenumonia.

If I have it that bad, that I need 2 anti-botics......shouldn't I still be in the hospital!

Health Part 3

Well I'm feeling a bit better today.

Windedness, trouble breathing, & chest pain seems to be all but gone.

But my BP is still very high for me.

So unless it gets way high out of control high today or tomorrow, if it's still not normal by monday, Mom is taking me back to the doctor, and this time we're not leaving until this is back to normal.

Health Part 2

Well, I ended up back in the ER on tuesday. They admitted me. I spent the night, and even though I didn't feel well enough to come home yesterday, they sent me home last night anyway!


I'm still very weak. I still get winded, my chest still hurts, and my blood pressure is super super high for me at least.

But they weren't at all concerned about that BP. "It's not that high" when it was 150 something over 90 something!

For me that's very very high!

Well they did change my bp medication. And "that will take time to regulate things" they said. So we'll see. If by say next Thursday, I'm still feeling this way, Mom is taking me to another hospital.

Right now I just feel like crap!

Health

Well I guess I don't have Asthma. I have Pneumonia instead.

And to me it's pretty bad, yet I'm not in the hospital.

Course even if I was in the hospital, if they didn't start giving me my meds on time, I'd check myself out again.

Asthma Attack

Well it's not 100% for sure, but I'm like 99% sure what happened to me yesterday morning was a severe Asthma attack.

Around 1am yesterday morning I was coughing so hard & bad that I couldn't sleep. And I started having chest pains, and arm pains, and trouble breathing.

And even when my cough & trouble breathing would calm down some, all I could think about was the family members who died from heart attacks, and was like "oh my god i'm having a heart attack", which I would then promptly start loosing my breath again.

When I finally for like half a second (which seemed like forever to me) actually for real, did stop breathing, my mom took me to the er.
After being in the er for more hours than it took god to create the world, lol, they finally admitted me.

Then nearly around midnight last night, because I was feeling better, my chest pain was gone, my breathing was 100% better, I wanted to go home, so I discharged myself. For 2 reasons. A: I was feeling much much much better, feeling normal. B: They weren't giving me my medications at the right times, so it was screwing me all up.

Got home around 12:30am this morning.

I have to go see my doctor right away tomorrow, so he can finish up with the tests they were going to do today on me in the hospital. But I can live with that.

Well Mom went to the Bank & Younkers today, to drop off her resumes. They both have job openings advertised.

So here's hoping she gets one.

The bank would be better cause it would be more normal hours. Retail hours suck big time!

Sick

Well a few days ago, Grandma started having this horrible cough. Actually she's had it since Christmas, but up until recently, we thought it was getting better.

Well yesterday afternoon, I started having the same really bad cough.

So this morning I went to see the doctor. He gave me some medication, so I'm feeling a bit better.
Grandma should actually be going tomorrow cause her cough is so bad. But we won't get her to go.
Luckly she has her 6 month check up, with her doctor, next week. So if we can keep her cough from getting any worse till then, we'll be okay.

The doctor gave me some cough medicine and Prednizone (probably not spelt right.). He said "it might cause you to be really wound up".
{I know when my mom took it years ago, it wound her up. She'd go to bed, at night, sleep for a couple hours and then around 2 - 3 am be wide awake and start cleaning the house! Vacuuming, you name it!}

So when he said that about being wound up. You should have seen the look on her face. It was priceless!
And I was like "pay back's a bitch mom". LMAO

Physcial Therapy

Well I "graduated" from physcial therapy today. YAY ME!
And I gotta admit, it did help my knees a whole lot.

Cause after I fell that time last fall, (Click on 'Story Here' and then Click on blog, to read about what happened.) Story Here, my knees just kept hurting even months later.

So when the doc suggested PT, I was like "ummm okay whatever", not really believing it would help. But boy I was wrong. My knees feel so much better.

Updates

Well the ear pain I've been having, I guess is caused from some muscle spasim in my jaw.
So I have to eat soft foods for about 10 days. LOL I'm gonna starve. LOL

Mom's gonna be applying for some jobs tomorrow. Here's hoping she gets one.

Valentines Day

Today Mom and I did our usual. We got a heart shaped pizza from Rocky Rocco's.

Other than that, didn't do anything. Valentines Day really sucks!

Dang, Grandma's turning into a mean remote natzi. If you try to take the remote you get such evil dirty looks that you count your fingers to make sure you still have 5!

Beware of the SMC company. They are nothing but scammers.

Couple of years ago my mom signed up with them after seeing their tv commercial. She paid for a membership, and got the sellers package in the mail.
After looking the package over my mom realized they had lied in their commercial, and followed their instructions to cancel her membership.

Well after that, SMC still kept charging membership fees to her credit card. Well after 7 months of fighting with SMC, mom finally told the credit card company to block all payments to SMC.

Well SMC then went to a collection agency.

My mom doesn't owe SMC jack s***. She never bought anything from them, she canceled within the time limit they set up, and canceled following their instructions.

In fact SMC owes my mom over $700.00!

Sad News

My Aunt called yesterday and told us that my Cousin's dog, Max, is dying from cancer.

My poor Maxy.

My Cousin said Max isn't in any pain, so that's good. That in fact, Max has been acting better, since being put on pain medication, than he has in a long time.

Christmas Traveling

Please pray, the weather is going to be bad tomorrow and right now grandma is pretty sick.

So unless we get a miracle and she feels much much much better come tomorrow morning, we won't be spending xmas with the rest of the family.

So please pray that grandma feels better tomorrow and that we have good weather, so we could leave anytime tomorrow.

My poor BF

My poor BF is qutting the job he loves because his ex is causing problems in the custody battle over their son.

To make things worse, just a couple days ago, my BF was invited to some kind of party / get together thing, and was unaware that his ex was invited to.

Personally I think who ever did the inviting, did it on purpose, hoping to get them back together. Such a gesture is sweet, but yet wrong, lol mind your own beeswax.

He's much happier without her! I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but even his family says I'm so much better for him, that I make him so much more happier than she ever did.

I just love him so much.


I have a picture of him at this party, standing in the corner looking bored to death, but I can't share it with you just yet; hopefully soon I'll be able to.

I hope we can be together soon, as in dating more often or maybe even married.

Sprained Ankle

Well last Friday while getting in or out of the car (I'm not sure which) I sprained my ankle.

The Doctor told me to put the walking cast from when I broke my foot on, and wear it until I could get in to see him this Monday.

Which is when he told he it was sprained slightly, and I should wear the boot until this Monday.

Well I got the 2009 Halloween layout created and put up.
Personally I think it's kinda nice.

My skinned up knees are getting better, thank goodness.

I'm gracefull as ever

After helping one of Grandma's neighbors with something, I was crossing the street to go to Grandma's house when I tripped over a tiny tiny pothole. And landed right on my hands & knees.

Those are my bandages from the fall. I skinned up both knees, and my left hand. My knees sting like hell!

When you upload pictures you can then have 20 printed out for free and sent to you. LOL well it's not 100% free you have to pay the shipping and any sales tax.
But I got 23 free pictures for only $2.09, that's pretty damn good.

Plus you can choose to have your pictures printed at your local Walgreens so you can go pick them up if you want, instead of having snapfish send them to you.
I choose some to be done that way. But the walgreens 8x10 machine broke, so I'm still waiting on the pictures.
But normally it doesn't take very long at all, like maybe an hour.

This site is pretty cool.

So thanks to snapfish.com, I'm gonna be able to get the rest of my Cousin's wedding photos printed out and then I can finally put them in the photo albumn we got for them.

New Layout

Fall Layout set up.

It's an previously used fall layout, just had to tweek it a little. But it's one I really like. LOL and I didn't feel like making a new one.

And since I had that computer virus a few months ago, I lost most all of my graphics for making layouts and stuff.

Dollar General

Dollar General is the weirdest store!

They've the the oddest store policies. Like on Shoplifting. Their policy is that you can't stop the shoplifter until they are out in the parking lot. But the local police say once the shoplifter is in the parking lot you can not stop them.

They don't have nearly enough employees. So the employees they do have, have to work sometimes 60 some hours a week!

I wanna get a new layout up, something for fall or Halloween, so I'll see what I can do.

Depression

Depression Sucks!

I hate being depressed. I try so hard to fight it, but I fail.
Medication helps a little.

What helps me the most, (usually, but there are times when even this thought, can't break through the "dark clouds") is thinking about my future with my bf as his wife, and being a mother to his son, and he & I trying to have a baby of our own.

I think I'm gonna try and come up with a blog layout, about my depression, showing how my bf's love, most of the time (and I'm talking 99.9% of the time) breaks through the "darkness" and helps me see a bright future.

Well I can't believe that David, Ed, Farrah & Michael are gone.

I watched MJ's funeral on tv today. I cried when his daughter spoke.

Plus once again I'm fighting with my insurance about my medication. They are refusing to pay for it.

Cousin's Wedding

My Cousin's wedding day is getting closer & closer.
It's only 2 weeks away now.

I'm getting really excited & nervous.

I believe strongly in Angels, and that you can talk to them, especially you're Guardian Angel.

And my Guardian Angel has been telling me for months that something very very special is going to happen to me at my Cousin's wedding. :-D

Sugery sucked

Well my surgery went okay, it was afterwards that sucked, the idiot doctor kept giving me pain medications that had Condine in, and I'm allergic to Condine!

Then right after I recovered from surgery I came down with a cold, ended up with an ear infection, like always.

Got better from the cold, and now Grandma's car is acting weird. Sometimes it'll start and sometimes it won't.

Surgery

I had my gall bladder removed on Tues. 3-3-09.
They sent me home that same day.

I'm so sick, I feel like I'm going to throw up.

Flu

Well we've had the flu, going around the house for over 1 week now.

I got it last week.

Then Mom and Grandma got it this week.

Grandma got sick, we ended up having to take her to the hospital.
They admitted her.

Mom fell in the garage, and banged up her knee pretty good.

Had to take mom to the doctor today to have her knee looked at.
She's fine. Just needs to use a cane for like the rest of the week, when she walks.

Grandma came home from the hospital today.

Grandma's doing okay. She's a little weak, but okay.
Mom's doing okay too. Her knee is much better. She hardly ever uses the cane any more.

Went to the Dentist yesterday. He put a new power chain on the braces on my bottom teeth.

Health Updates

Okay Grandma's home from the hospital. She nearly died!

Mom and I got over the flu.

But then this week, Mom ended up in the hospital because she was having chest pains.

Doc's don't know why.

She's home from the hospital, and seems to be okay now. Just gonna have to keep an eye on her I guess.

Good News & Bad News

The good news is my cousin got engaged a couple weeks ago. :-D

Bad news is, Grandma's very sick, in a hospital, in another town. She's got the Flu and phneumonia.

Mom and I came down with the flu too.

And now I have phneumonia as well.

Christmas Part 3

Sat 12-29-07

Well I got together with my Dad, my two Brothers, my Niece, all 4 of my Nephews and my Sister-In-Law tonight to celebrate Xmas.

Only it all most didn't happen. Yesterday (12-28-07) my Sister-In-Law kept changing her mind about where we should get together at.

She and my youngest Brother are seperated, and he really wanted to come here to my house.

Personally, I think she kept messin' around with the plans, on purpose to annoy him.

But We managed to get together finally last night.

And everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. My one Nephew, Montana, kept giving me such huge hugs....hehe I loved it.

The best present I got was the two drawings two of my other Nephews, Jason & Johnny, made for me.

I absolutely love them.

Christmas part 2

Well We're back home from my Aunt & Uncle's house now.

Christmas was good.

My one Cousin couldn't stay on Xmas Day and eat dinner with us that night, because he and his girlfriend were going to have dinner with her family....I know, I know, and I'm only complaining a little lol lol.

I had a discount ticket to see National Treasure 2, so we did that tonight, cause the ticket was only good until 12-28-07.

It was really good.

Sunday at my Aunt & Uncle's I did some baking. I baked a chocolate cheese cake, Georgia Cookie Candy.

On Monday (Xmas Eve) I made the Pumpkin Pie.

My Uncle normally makes the Pumpkin Pie, but he got called out to work, so I made it.

Christmas Weekend

Well I'm at my Aunt & Uncle's house for Xmas. We were originally gonna come today but on Friday they predicted a major snow storm for our area, for today. So we came here yesterday instead.

Boy I'm glad we did too. If we hadn't have left yesterday, there's no way we'd have left today....it's doubtfull we'd have been able to come here tomorrow either.

Sick

ARGH! I have a cold!

I've still got presents to wrap, shopping to do, baking to do, and I get a cold...just perfect!

This couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Christmas

Well on Friday my Mom came home early from work cause she was sick.

She felt better yesterday so we when Christmas shopping and saw Alvin And The Chimpmunks (that movie is awesome!). Didn't get all my xmas shopping done yet lol I got one more present to buy.

Today I did my best to finish decortating the house. Not all the decorations are up, but some are up, lol so I'm quiting.

I'm all most done now. I should be able to finish it up on Sat. LOL I hope.

Xmas

Well I have a little, tiny bit of Xmas shopping done.
We got the lights around the porch, up yesterday.

Today we got the villiage up on the mantel and we got the tree up.
No lights or ornaments yet, we'll get to it though lol.

Snowblower still isn't fixed. The guy never came this week to pick it up. Now he's supposed to come this Tues to get it.
I hope we don't have to hire someone to plow us out again.

Bad Ribs & Snow

Well the guys we hired to blow out the driveway finally came around 5am this morning.
My ribs were hurting so bad from when I had to carry my computer to the car and from the car into the shop, and back, that I had to go into the chiropractor this morning.
I feel much much better now :-D.

I hope to God one of my Grandma's neighbors blew her sidewalks for her, so I don't have to shovel them.
As it is, I'll have to shovel the little sidewalk that goes from the sidewalk to the street. Cause my Grandma's neighbor never plows that.
But doing that won't be as bad as doing that, plus the sidewalks too.

The temperature is dropping, it was 17 above when my Mom left for work around 7am, and it's now 13 above. LOL and my Grandma wants to go grocery shopping around 3pm today. LOL she keeps saying "It'll be warmer by then." LOL.
I hope she's right LOL.

First Snow Part 2

Well the guys we called to come blow us out never came.
I hope they get here bright and early tomorrow, otherwise my Mom won't be able to get out to go to work.

First Snow

Well it snowed enough yesterday that we had to use the snowblower to get out of the driveway today.

There was only one problem.....the snowblower wouldn't start!

We called someone to come blow out the driveway for us. But they haven't come yet.

Least it's not snowing any more. But it's supposed to start again on Tuesday.

Tomorrow we'll call someone to come pick up the snowblower to fix it. But i highly doubt we'll have it back by Tuesday.

So if it does snow again on Tuesday, I hope it's not a lot of snow, so I can shovel it. Cause hiring someone to blow out the driveway is expensive.

More Snow, Death & Computer Problems

Well this morning I got up and the ground was totally covered in a light dusting of snow.

And we're under a major winter weather advisory for this weekend. Could get lots and lots and lots of snow this weekend.

Also this week my computer was making a funny noise, so I took it in to be repaired.
There was nothing wrong with it, thank goodness.
That computer is so darn heavy, carrying it, hurt my bad ribs.

It's mainly around the edges so to speak. You know where the grass comes up against the road.

I guess that means Winter is finally here.

Well it turns out my Apple Cinnamon Bread wasn't completely done. I don't understand it. The toothpick came out clean when I tested the bread. But after the first slice, the center of the bread was still dough.

My Georgia Cookie Candy was a big hit though.

Everyone was here. Today was a very good day.

Friday 11-23-04

Well it's a tradition in our family to go shopping the day after thanksgiving. So we did a little shopping this afternoon. In years past, we've gotten out at 5am when the stores opened. But we didn't do that this year.

My cousins went back home today, but my Aunt and Uncle stayed.

LOL we watched the movie Deck The Halls, it's very good.
But after watching it, we had this uncontrolable urge to put up our outside xmas lights. LOL.

So we got them out of the basement. But there was one broken bulb and several bulbs that just didn't light any more.

So we went out to buy more bulbs. LOL by the time we got back, it was too cold to do anything outside so we decided to wait.

My other Aunt, emailed this morning to let me know that my flowers did finally arrive yesterday.

Well the florist in California wasn't too bright.
When I ordered the flowers yesterday I had them sent to where the viewing of my Aunt's body was going to be today.
When the florist in California got the order, they looked at the obit in the paper, and since there was not viewing times listed, they just decided to wait and deliever the flowers to the church tomorrow (11-16-07)
Even though in the obit it says that all flowers should be sent to where the viewing was today!

After about 4 phone calls, I was finally told that they get my flowers over there right away. The lady seemed really nice about it. And I'm not really all that mad at her....

I'm thinking of calling my Dad or someone tomorrow morning before the funeral and see if my flowers were really delievered yesterday or not....cause if they weren't.....I'm gonna be super pissed off.

Aunt's Funeral

Well my Aunt, the one in California who died, her viewing is tomorrow afternoon, and her funeral is Friday.

I went and ordered flowers today, to be sent to the chaple, I hope they get there by tomorrow.

I can't go to her funeral, no matter how much I would like to.....I can't afford to go all the way out to California.

Another Aunt has promised to send me a couple of the Memorium cards that they have that the funeral home.

I've been online and printed out a copy of her obit in the California newspaper.

And my Aunt has promised lots of pictures.

My Dad and Uncle and their wives are in California now, for the funeral.

I guess that will have to do.....

Well at around 3am this morning, my Aunt in California, passed away, before they could turn off her life support.

In some ways I'm glad she died before they turned off the life support, cause I just don't believe in doing that. Sorry if I've insulted anyone just now, but that's how I feel.

They haven't decided when the funeral will be yet.

Doesn't matter really, I can't go. I can't afford to go all the way out to California, no matter how much I would like to.

Family Emergency Update

Well I found out now that they aren't turning off my Aunt's life support till tomorrow night, because all of her kids can't get there tonight.

Family Emergency

A few posts back, I posted about my Aunt in California having Cancer.

Well I found out now, that...well....if she lives through today she'll be doing good.

She's bleeding internally, septic, swollen, and on life support.

She'll probably be gone yet today I wouldn't be surprised.

And when she does die, I won't be able to go to her funeral. I can't go all the way out to California.

I feel horrible about not being able to see her one last time....but she's not awake, so in some ways I don't feel too bad about not being able to see her one last time.

I feel the worst about knowing I won't be able to attend her funeral.

Updates

A week ago one of my Mom's co-workers was killed.

Monday (11-5-07) my DVD-RW drive went kaput. It worked fine on Sunday thought.

Tuesday (11-6-07) Took the computer in and got a new DVD-RW drive put in.
Anything else goes wrong on this computer, and I'm turning it into a toaster!

First Snow (11-5-07)

It snowed this afternoon for about 5 minutes or so.

Nothing major, and it melted as soon as it hit the ground. But it was snow, non the less.

Wal-Mart

Do not ever go shopping at Wal-Mart on a Saturday!
I'm serious!
It took us like an hour before we found someone loading their bags into their car. Then we sat there for like 15 - 30 minutes before they finally were ready, got in their car and backed out of the parking space.
The inside of the store wasn't much better....my gosh....you'd think it was Dec. 24th, with all the people that were in there today.

Braces

I got the bottom braces put on my teeth this afternoon.
My teeth and mouth hurt like h***!
And I can't eat anything, hurts to chew or bite food!

This Blog, Halloween & Mom

LOL Okay, I realize I tend to post things the day after they happen. :-P LOL sorry about that. I'll try to do better.

Well Trick Or Treating was yesterday. I dressed up as a witch again to pass out candy. LOL It seems my neighbors really like that.

Four parents took my picture yesterday. LOL

Well My Mom is home sick with a cold. She's lost her voice even.
LOL So I'm avoiding her as much as possible. LOL.

Family Gathering

Yesterday I had lunch with my Dad, my two Brothers, two of my Nephews, my Aunt (Dad's Sister) & Uncle (her husband). Grandma joined us for lunch too.

It was a good time. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Accidents Updates

Well I called my Brother yesterday, he's gonna be fine.

He's permamently lost some of the feeling in his hand, though.

I talked to my Nephew today.

LOL it hasn't even phased him. He's perfectly fine. LOL

Rearranging & Accidents

What was supposed to be a simple, couple hour project of plugging in a couple surge bars and turning my lingerie chest a little bit, in my bedroom, ended up being a two day mini remodel job.

After getting the two surgebars in place, then I turned my lingerie chest a little bit. Then I stood there thinkin..."hmmm maybe I can rearrange some other things..."...LOL. It sorta snowballed from there.

That simple project ended up being a drilling holes, hanging things, patching holes, moving furniture and painting over the patches; two day job LMAO!

Man am I tired and sore. LOL Thank God I'm done.

I also found out tonight that several weeks ago my baby Brother was on a roof working, holding onto some piece of metal, when he fell off the roof; and the piece of metal went through his hand!

And if that isn't bad enough, around that same time, his 6 year old son was bit by a dog and needed surgery!

And I'm just finding all of this out weeks later! Needless to say I'm a little pissed off!

I think my dear baby Brother is going to get a phone call from me tomorrow, just so I can make sure he remembers how the telephone/cell phone works! lol

Funeral

Well my Great Aunt's funeral was today.

LOL I know it's weird to say this about a funeral, but it was really nice.

There was a lunch after the services were all over, so we stayed a bit longer and ate some lunch, visited with family we haven't seen in ages.

The Aunt who died, I didn't know her very well....hardly at all. But a few years ago, when I was sick, she would call about once a week to see how I was doing.

And that alone is worth remembering her for.

Sad News

We found out late last night that my Great Aunt has passed away.

Her daughter told us that she died around 4:00pm yesterday.

My cousin didn't know what the services would be yet. She hasn't made any arrangement's so far. But I'm sure the funeral won't be too far off. I'm guessing this coming Friday or Saturday.

Damn Computers

Okay I've been without a computer for about 2 weeks.

My desktop got hit with viruses, which spread to my laptop. At that point I told my mom to not use her computer until I could get it checked out.

Turns out Mom's computer was fine.

Well I finally have all 3 computers back and hooked up again. My wireless internet connection on my laptop was a pain in the butt to set up.

It's still not set up the way my cousin had it, when he first set it up for me....but it works....he can fix it at Thansgiving.

However, my network still isn't working. Grrrrr!

Grandma's Birthday

Grandma's 85 birthday was nice. We had a family gathering for her. No party or anything, just a few family members and dinner; that's all.

It was a really nice time.

More Computer Trouble

Well now my laptop has gone to heck. Only working computer left in the house is my Mom's. And believe me, I'm scared to death to be using it right now!

I was on my laptop, downloading Gateway updates for it....and poof, it lost the internet connection and can't find it.

I took it to Best Buy right away. The guy thought he had it fixed, it was able to find internet connections at the store. But when I got it home......zipo, nothin' noda!
So now I have to take my laptop back to Best Buy tomorrow morning.

Good news, I might be able to bring my desktop home tomorrow. Sounds like it's all most fixed.....Thank God!

Computer Update

Well I took my computer into Best Buy yesterday. Guy said it would take 2 - 4 days before I'd have it back.

Good thing I have my laptop and my Mom's computer.

Bad part is I can't do a lot of stuff on those to computers. Most all of my stuff is on my desktop. LOL

Virus Hell & Grandma's Birthday

Computer Virus Hell

Well today I found myself in computer virus hell.

I got 6 viruses in like 2 seconds flat! On my desktop computer.

By the time my computer was done scanning, it claimed I had a total of 8.

After not being able to find any instructions on how to remove them, since trying to get rid of them with my anti-virus program, only resulted in my anti-virus program crashing.....I called my cousin D*** for help.

He told me to go to Norton's website, and follow their removal instructions. One problem, Norton's website didn't have anything on these viruses that I got.

So I have decided to take the comp into Best Buy tomorrow morning and hope they can help me. Since I'm unable to find any directions on how to remove the viruses myself....I don't really have much choice.

Grandma's Birthday

Well what was going to be a simple, small, imediate family dinner, to celebrate Grandma's 85th Birthday......has just blown up.

LOL Now put near every relative we know whats to know what time to be here for the dinner. LOL

We weren't planning a party....just a simple, family dinner is all....LOL Thank god my Aunt said she'd be doing the cooking LMAO!

Okay this week has been kinda crazy. So I haven't been able to post anything everyday. So here it goes.

Monday 9-10-07

Went to pick up my prescription at the Clinic and they had it all screwed up. It's been awhile since they screwed it up though. Then the nurse tried to tell me that I didn't know how my prescription had to be wrote up. Grrrr.

On Sunday I had switched my prescriptions to the new Wal-Greens that just opened up like about 5 minutes from my house. But they didn't have my medication; but the other Wal-Greens outside of town, did. So I went there, and the gal tells me that they only have 20 pills and I needed 60. And to get the remaining 40 I'd need to come back with another prescription from my doctor!

Well screw that noise. I took my prescriptions back and went back to my old pharamcy and switched back again.

Tuesday 9-11-07

Computer, mainly my Paintshop Pro program went to hell.

PSP wouldn't load, or if it did load, it kept freezing on me. So at first I thought I just had too many PSP Graphics stored in the psp file in My Documents. So I moved them to another place.

Well after I was all done rearranging, I emptied the recyle bin. Then I went to look for one of my celeb graphics to make a banner with, and find them all gone.

I'd accidently deleted the folder, without realizing it. And since I didn't know I'd deleted it, it was in the recyle bin when I emptied the damn thing!

As it turns out I had PAZ_GENERIC.001 (A virus) on my comp. Got rid of that and now PSP seems to work fine. I also think it did help by relocating most of those psp graphics to another location.

So now I just have to try and find a way to recover the folder I accidently deleted. I emailed my cousin and he emailed me back some directions on how to do it. I'll give it a try sometime next week maybe.

Today 9-13-07

Finally got the fall layout up as you can see. I know it took me awhile. But I had a hard time finding a picture I really liked. I'm gonna start working on a Halloween layout for next month.

Birthday Part 2

Well I found out why my Aunt never called yesterday.

She wasn't feeling good.

I decided to call her, because it's not like her to miss my birthday so I knew something wasn't right.

Happy Birthday To Me

Well today is my Birthday.

Nothing really special happened.

It's just another day, like yesterday was, & like tomorrow will be.

I got a couple cards.

A few online friends wished me happy birthday....

I guess maybe cause I'm not a kid any more; I guess the older you get, the less excited you get about your birthday.

I got some perfume, Kiss (as in the rock band) for Her; & a necklace + bracelet from my friend.

My Aunt who always calls on my birthday didn't even call me today. I guess she forgot.

Maybe she'll call tomorrow.

Didn't hear from my BF either. But he's very very busy; I understand.

Didn't hear from my Dad or his side of the family...but that's normal.

They tend to think my birthday is in October.

Instead of Grandma making my birthday dinner of Beef Stew, I found out that you can get a free dinner from Gratzi's on your birthday. So, Mom, Grandma and I went there instead.

Grandma says she'll make the Beef Stew on Monday.

I'm working on a fall layout for the blog.

I'll have it up asap.

Bad News

Well my Aunt who lives in California has found out she has Cancer. The doctor at first said she's got about 1 year left to live.

I talked to her on the phone this afternoon and she seemed okay. She said the doctor now says that with redation and kemo she could live another year, maybe even two or three.

Either way, unless a mirical happens, she's not going to be with us much longer.

Bridge In Minnesota

Oh my God what a horrible thing to happen, that bridge collasping. I didn't even know it had happened till I got an email from my cousin, telling me that his two kids who live there, were okay.

Thank God for that.

My prayers are with the people on the bridge and their families.

Car Trouble

Well Grandma's car has officially died *plays taps*. She and I barely made it back here to the house, before the stiring went out on it.

This happened on Tuesday.

We've been car shopping ever since. Found one tonight, she really really likes. The seller said they'd hold on to it for us, and tomorrow night we're gonna go get it.

It's in really good shape and runs good too, lol well I should say the motor sounded good when she started it. I guess we'll find out tomorrow how well it really runs.
