Christmas Part 3

Sat 12-29-07

Well I got together with my Dad, my two Brothers, my Niece, all 4 of my Nephews and my Sister-In-Law tonight to celebrate Xmas.

Only it all most didn't happen. Yesterday (12-28-07) my Sister-In-Law kept changing her mind about where we should get together at.

She and my youngest Brother are seperated, and he really wanted to come here to my house.

Personally, I think she kept messin' around with the plans, on purpose to annoy him.

But We managed to get together finally last night.

And everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. My one Nephew, Montana, kept giving me such huge hugs....hehe I loved it.

The best present I got was the two drawings two of my other Nephews, Jason & Johnny, made for me.

I absolutely love them.

Christmas part 2

Well We're back home from my Aunt & Uncle's house now.

Christmas was good.

My one Cousin couldn't stay on Xmas Day and eat dinner with us that night, because he and his girlfriend were going to have dinner with her family....I know, I know, and I'm only complaining a little lol lol.

I had a discount ticket to see National Treasure 2, so we did that tonight, cause the ticket was only good until 12-28-07.

It was really good.

New Years Layout is up lol as you can see.

Sunday at my Aunt & Uncle's I did some baking. I baked a chocolate cheese cake, Georgia Cookie Candy.

On Monday (Xmas Eve) I made the Pumpkin Pie.

My Uncle normally makes the Pumpkin Pie, but he got called out to work, so I made it.

Christmas Weekend

Well I'm at my Aunt & Uncle's house for Xmas. We were originally gonna come today but on Friday they predicted a major snow storm for our area, for today. So we came here yesterday instead.

Boy I'm glad we did too. If we hadn't have left yesterday, there's no way we'd have left today....it's doubtfull we'd have been able to come here tomorrow either.

Sick

ARGH! I have a cold!

I've still got presents to wrap, shopping to do, baking to do, and I get a cold...just perfect!

This couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Christmas

Well on Friday my Mom came home early from work cause she was sick.

She felt better yesterday so we when Christmas shopping and saw Alvin And The Chimpmunks (that movie is awesome!). Didn't get all my xmas shopping done yet lol I got one more present to buy.

Today I did my best to finish decortating the house. Not all the decorations are up, but some are up, lol so I'm quiting.

I'm all most done now. I should be able to finish it up on Sat. LOL I hope.

Xmas

Well I have a little, tiny bit of Xmas shopping done.
We got the lights around the porch, up yesterday.

Today we got the villiage up on the mantel and we got the tree up.
No lights or ornaments yet, we'll get to it though lol.

Snowblower still isn't fixed. The guy never came this week to pick it up. Now he's supposed to come this Tues to get it.
I hope we don't have to hire someone to plow us out again.

Bad Ribs & Snow

Well the guys we hired to blow out the driveway finally came around 5am this morning.
My ribs were hurting so bad from when I had to carry my computer to the car and from the car into the shop, and back, that I had to go into the chiropractor this morning.
I feel much much better now :-D.

I hope to God one of my Grandma's neighbors blew her sidewalks for her, so I don't have to shovel them.
As it is, I'll have to shovel the little sidewalk that goes from the sidewalk to the street. Cause my Grandma's neighbor never plows that.
But doing that won't be as bad as doing that, plus the sidewalks too.

The temperature is dropping, it was 17 above when my Mom left for work around 7am, and it's now 13 above. LOL and my Grandma wants to go grocery shopping around 3pm today. LOL she keeps saying "It'll be warmer by then." LOL.
I hope she's right LOL.

First Snow Part 2

Well the guys we called to come blow us out never came.
I hope they get here bright and early tomorrow, otherwise my Mom won't be able to get out to go to work.

First Snow

Well it snowed enough yesterday that we had to use the snowblower to get out of the driveway today.

There was only one problem.....the snowblower wouldn't start!

We called someone to come blow out the driveway for us. But they haven't come yet.

Least it's not snowing any more. But it's supposed to start again on Tuesday.

Tomorrow we'll call someone to come pick up the snowblower to fix it. But i highly doubt we'll have it back by Tuesday.

So if it does snow again on Tuesday, I hope it's not a lot of snow, so I can shovel it. Cause hiring someone to blow out the driveway is expensive.

Snow Storm

More Snow, Death & Computer Problems

Well this morning I got up and the ground was totally covered in a light dusting of snow.

And we're under a major winter weather advisory for this weekend. Could get lots and lots and lots of snow this weekend.

Also this week my computer was making a funny noise, so I took it in to be repaired.
There was nothing wrong with it, thank goodness.
That computer is so darn heavy, carrying it, hurt my bad ribs.

There's a tiny, little bit of snow on the ground.

It's mainly around the edges so to speak. You know where the grass comes up against the road.

I guess that means Winter is finally here.

Well today I did my baking for tomorrow. I made Apple Cinnamon Bread and Georgia Cookie Candy.

Well it turns out my Apple Cinnamon Bread wasn't completely done. I don't understand it. The toothpick came out clean when I tested the bread. But after the first slice, the center of the bread was still dough.

My Georgia Cookie Candy was a big hit though.

Everyone was here. Today was a very good day.

Friday 11-23-04

Well it's a tradition in our family to go shopping the day after thanksgiving. So we did a little shopping this afternoon. In years past, we've gotten out at 5am when the stores opened. But we didn't do that this year.

My cousins went back home today, but my Aunt and Uncle stayed.

My Aunt and Uncle went home this morning.

LOL we watched the movie Deck The Halls, it's very good.
But after watching it, we had this uncontrolable urge to put up our outside xmas lights. LOL.

So we got them out of the basement. But there was one broken bulb and several bulbs that just didn't light any more.

So we went out to buy more bulbs. LOL by the time we got back, it was too cold to do anything outside so we decided to wait.

Funeral (11-16-07)

Well today was my Aunt's funeral.
My other Aunt, emailed this morning to let me know that my flowers did finally arrive yesterday.

Flowers For the Funeral & Viewing (11-15-07)

Well the florist in California wasn't too bright.
When I ordered the flowers yesterday I had them sent to where the viewing of my Aunt's body was going to be today.
When the florist in California got the order, they looked at the obit in the paper, and since there was not viewing times listed, they just decided to wait and deliever the flowers to the church tomorrow (11-16-07)
Even though in the obit it says that all flowers should be sent to where the viewing was today!

After about 4 phone calls, I was finally told that they get my flowers over there right away. The lady seemed really nice about it. And I'm not really all that mad at her....

I'm thinking of calling my Dad or someone tomorrow morning before the funeral and see if my flowers were really delievered yesterday or not....cause if they weren't.....I'm gonna be super pissed off.

Aunt's Funeral

Well my Aunt, the one in California who died, her viewing is tomorrow afternoon, and her funeral is Friday.

I went and ordered flowers today, to be sent to the chaple, I hope they get there by tomorrow.

I can't go to her funeral, no matter how much I would like to.....I can't afford to go all the way out to California.

Another Aunt has promised to send me a couple of the Memorium cards that they have that the funeral home.

I've been online and printed out a copy of her obit in the California newspaper.

And my Aunt has promised lots of pictures.

My Dad and Uncle and their wives are in California now, for the funeral.

I guess that will have to do.....

Well at around 3am this morning, my Aunt in California, passed away, before they could turn off her life support.

In some ways I'm glad she died before they turned off the life support, cause I just don't believe in doing that. Sorry if I've insulted anyone just now, but that's how I feel.

They haven't decided when the funeral will be yet.

Doesn't matter really, I can't go. I can't afford to go all the way out to California, no matter how much I would like to.

Family Emergency Update

Well I found out now that they aren't turning off my Aunt's life support till tomorrow night, because all of her kids can't get there tonight.

Family Emergency

A few posts back, I posted about my Aunt in California having Cancer.

Well I found out now, that...well....if she lives through today she'll be doing good.

She's bleeding internally, septic, swollen, and on life support.

She'll probably be gone yet today I wouldn't be surprised.

And when she does die, I won't be able to go to her funeral. I can't go all the way out to California.

I feel horrible about not being able to see her one last time....but she's not awake, so in some ways I don't feel too bad about not being able to see her one last time.

I feel the worst about knowing I won't be able to attend her funeral.

A week ago one of my Mom's co-workers was killed.

Monday (11-5-07) my DVD-RW drive went kaput. It worked fine on Sunday thought.

Tuesday (11-6-07) Took the computer in and got a new DVD-RW drive put in.
Anything else goes wrong on this computer, and I'm turning it into a toaster!

First Snow (11-5-07)

It snowed this afternoon for about 5 minutes or so.

Nothing major, and it melted as soon as it hit the ground. But it was snow, non the less.

Wal-Mart

Do not ever go shopping at Wal-Mart on a Saturday!
I'm serious!
It took us like an hour before we found someone loading their bags into their car. Then we sat there for like 15 - 30 minutes before they finally were ready, got in their car and backed out of the parking space.
The inside of the store wasn't much better....my gosh....you'd think it was Dec. 24th, with all the people that were in there today.

Braces

I got the bottom braces put on my teeth this afternoon.
My teeth and mouth hurt like h***!
And I can't eat anything, hurts to chew or bite food!

This Blog, Halloween & Mom

LOL Okay, I realize I tend to post things the day after they happen. :-P LOL sorry about that. I'll try to do better.

Well Trick Or Treating was yesterday. I dressed up as a witch again to pass out candy. LOL It seems my neighbors really like that.

Four parents took my picture yesterday. LOL

Well My Mom is home sick with a cold. She's lost her voice even.
LOL So I'm avoiding her as much as possible. LOL.

Family Gathering

Yesterday I had lunch with my Dad, my two Brothers, two of my Nephews, my Aunt (Dad's Sister) & Uncle (her husband). Grandma joined us for lunch too.

It was a good time. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Accidents Updates

Well I called my Brother yesterday, he's gonna be fine.

He's permamently lost some of the feeling in his hand, though.

I talked to my Nephew today.

LOL it hasn't even phased him. He's perfectly fine. LOL

Rearranging & Accidents

What was supposed to be a simple, couple hour project of plugging in a couple surge bars and turning my lingerie chest a little bit, in my bedroom, ended up being a two day mini remodel job.

After getting the two surgebars in place, then I turned my lingerie chest a little bit. Then I stood there thinkin..."hmmm maybe I can rearrange some other things..."...LOL. It sorta snowballed from there.

That simple project ended up being a drilling holes, hanging things, patching holes, moving furniture and painting over the patches; two day job LMAO!

Man am I tired and sore. LOL Thank God I'm done.

I also found out tonight that several weeks ago my baby Brother was on a roof working, holding onto some piece of metal, when he fell off the roof; and the piece of metal went through his hand!

And if that isn't bad enough, around that same time, his 6 year old son was bit by a dog and needed surgery!

And I'm just finding all of this out weeks later! Needless to say I'm a little pissed off!

I think my dear baby Brother is going to get a phone call from me tomorrow, just so I can make sure he remembers how the telephone/cell phone works! lol

Funeral

Well my Great Aunt's funeral was today.

LOL I know it's weird to say this about a funeral, but it was really nice.

There was a lunch after the services were all over, so we stayed a bit longer and ate some lunch, visited with family we haven't seen in ages.

The Aunt who died, I didn't know her very well....hardly at all. But a few years ago, when I was sick, she would call about once a week to see how I was doing.

And that alone is worth remembering her for.

Sad News

We found out late last night that my Great Aunt has passed away.

Her daughter told us that she died around 4:00pm yesterday.

My cousin didn't know what the services would be yet. She hasn't made any arrangement's so far. But I'm sure the funeral won't be too far off. I'm guessing this coming Friday or Saturday.

Damn Computers

Okay I've been without a computer for about 2 weeks.

My desktop got hit with viruses, which spread to my laptop. At that point I told my mom to not use her computer until I could get it checked out.

Turns out Mom's computer was fine.

Well I finally have all 3 computers back and hooked up again. My wireless internet connection on my laptop was a pain in the butt to set up.

It's still not set up the way my cousin had it, when he first set it up for me....but it works....he can fix it at Thansgiving.

However, my network still isn't working. Grrrrr!

Grandma's Birthday

Grandma's 85 birthday was nice. We had a family gathering for her. No party or anything, just a few family members and dinner; that's all.

It was a really nice time.

More Computer Trouble

Well now my laptop has gone to heck. Only working computer left in the house is my Mom's. And believe me, I'm scared to death to be using it right now!

I was on my laptop, downloading Gateway updates for it....and poof, it lost the internet connection and can't find it.

I took it to Best Buy right away. The guy thought he had it fixed, it was able to find internet connections at the store. But when I got it home......zipo, nothin' noda!
So now I have to take my laptop back to Best Buy tomorrow morning.

Good news, I might be able to bring my desktop home tomorrow. Sounds like it's all most fixed.....Thank God!

Computer Update

Well I took my computer into Best Buy yesterday. Guy said it would take 2 - 4 days before I'd have it back.

Good thing I have my laptop and my Mom's computer.

Bad part is I can't do a lot of stuff on those to computers. Most all of my stuff is on my desktop. LOL

Virus Hell & Grandma's Birthday

Computer Virus Hell

Well today I found myself in computer virus hell.

I got 6 viruses in like 2 seconds flat! On my desktop computer.

By the time my computer was done scanning, it claimed I had a total of 8.

After not being able to find any instructions on how to remove them, since trying to get rid of them with my anti-virus program, only resulted in my anti-virus program crashing.....I called my cousin D*** for help.

He told me to go to Norton's website, and follow their removal instructions. One problem, Norton's website didn't have anything on these viruses that I got.

So I have decided to take the comp into Best Buy tomorrow morning and hope they can help me. Since I'm unable to find any directions on how to remove the viruses myself....I don't really have much choice.

Grandma's Birthday

Well what was going to be a simple, small, imediate family dinner, to celebrate Grandma's 85th Birthday......has just blown up.

LOL Now put near every relative we know whats to know what time to be here for the dinner. LOL

We weren't planning a party....just a simple, family dinner is all....LOL Thank god my Aunt said she'd be doing the cooking LMAO!

Okay this week has been kinda crazy. So I haven't been able to post anything everyday. So here it goes.

Monday 9-10-07

Went to pick up my prescription at the Clinic and they had it all screwed up. It's been awhile since they screwed it up though. Then the nurse tried to tell me that I didn't know how my prescription had to be wrote up. Grrrr.

On Sunday I had switched my prescriptions to the new Wal-Greens that just opened up like about 5 minutes from my house. But they didn't have my medication; but the other Wal-Greens outside of town, did. So I went there, and the gal tells me that they only have 20 pills and I needed 60. And to get the remaining 40 I'd need to come back with another prescription from my doctor!

Well screw that noise. I took my prescriptions back and went back to my old pharamcy and switched back again.

Tuesday 9-11-07

Computer, mainly my Paintshop Pro program went to hell.

PSP wouldn't load, or if it did load, it kept freezing on me. So at first I thought I just had too many PSP Graphics stored in the psp file in My Documents. So I moved them to another place.

Well after I was all done rearranging, I emptied the recyle bin. Then I went to look for one of my celeb graphics to make a banner with, and find them all gone.

I'd accidently deleted the folder, without realizing it. And since I didn't know I'd deleted it, it was in the recyle bin when I emptied the damn thing!

As it turns out I had PAZ_GENERIC.001 (A virus) on my comp. Got rid of that and now PSP seems to work fine. I also think it did help by relocating most of those psp graphics to another location.

So now I just have to try and find a way to recover the folder I accidently deleted. I emailed my cousin and he emailed me back some directions on how to do it. I'll give it a try sometime next week maybe.

Today 9-13-07

Finally got the fall layout up as you can see. I know it took me awhile. But I had a hard time finding a picture I really liked. I'm gonna start working on a Halloween layout for next month.

Birthday Part 2

Well I found out why my Aunt never called yesterday.

She wasn't feeling good.

I decided to call her, because it's not like her to miss my birthday so I knew something wasn't right.

Happy Birthday To Me

Well today is my Birthday.

Nothing really special happened.

It's just another day, like yesterday was, & like tomorrow will be.

I got a couple cards.

A few online friends wished me happy birthday....

I guess maybe cause I'm not a kid any more; I guess the older you get, the less excited you get about your birthday.

I got some perfume, Kiss (as in the rock band) for Her; & a necklace + bracelet from my friend.

My Aunt who always calls on my birthday didn't even call me today. I guess she forgot.

Maybe she'll call tomorrow.

Didn't hear from my BF either. But he's very very busy; I understand.

Didn't hear from my Dad or his side of the family...but that's normal.

They tend to think my birthday is in October.

Instead of Grandma making my birthday dinner of Beef Stew, I found out that you can get a free dinner from Gratzi's on your birthday. So, Mom, Grandma and I went there instead.

Grandma says she'll make the Beef Stew on Monday.

I'm working on a fall layout for the blog.

I'll have it up asap.

Bad News

Well my Aunt who lives in California has found out she has Cancer. The doctor at first said she's got about 1 year left to live.

I talked to her on the phone this afternoon and she seemed okay. She said the doctor now says that with redation and kemo she could live another year, maybe even two or three.

Either way, unless a mirical happens, she's not going to be with us much longer.

Bridge In Minnesota

Oh my God what a horrible thing to happen, that bridge collasping. I didn't even know it had happened till I got an email from my cousin, telling me that his two kids who live there, were okay.

Thank God for that.

My prayers are with the people on the bridge and their families.

Car Trouble

Well Grandma's car has officially died *plays taps*. She and I barely made it back here to the house, before the stiring went out on it.

This happened on Tuesday.

We've been car shopping ever since. Found one tonight, she really really likes. The seller said they'd hold on to it for us, and tomorrow night we're gonna go get it.

It's in really good shape and runs good too, lol well I should say the motor sounded good when she started it. I guess we'll find out tomorrow how well it really runs.

Death

Well, first our paperboy dies. And now a neighbor of my Grandma's has passed away too.

He wasn't very old either. He was around my Mom's age.

Seems like ever since we got back from vacation everything has well....gone to hell so to speak.

First we've been so sick lately.

Then these two deaths.

Found out my Cousin has a cold too.

It's like gesh, give me a break all ready.

Grandma is concerned because she says "Death comes in three's."

First was the paperboy, then her neighbor....so she's wondering "who's next?"

She's not crazy though, I've known it to happen in threes like that.

So I'm sorta wondering myself, who's next.

Grandma

Well last weekend Grandma got bit by some kind of bug.

She's got this nasty looking rash on her leg.

The Dr gave her an antibotic, and the rash is looking better today and hasn't itched her all day.

Not sure what bit her though.

Seems like since our vacation, Grandma's had a lot of health problems.
First that cold she caught coming home from vacation and ended up in the hospital.

And now this.

All of this has me just a little concerned.

Well I think I'm finally getting used to these braces. The weekend was hell. Felt like the damn things were cutting into my upper lip.

But today they've been okay. Haven't bothered me at all.

Grandma's doing good with her hearing aides. She's had some trouble putting the one for her left ear in, so she's stopped trying to wear that one.

She says she can hear just fine without it. I don't know about that, but I do know she can hear a lot better than she could before.

Got some sad news today. Our paperboy is dead. Out of respect for his family, I won't say what happened. But my sympothies go out to them.

That cold Grandma & I both had is finally gone thank God.

I got a 4th Of July layout all made. I just gotta work on the html code, so I can use it come July.

WWE Monday Night Raw: LMAO Vince has totally lost his frickin' mind this time. Or at least that's what he hopes everyone will believe. Dang he's a good actor.

Braces & Hearing Aides

Well due to a few crooked teeth in front, I got braces put on my top teeth this morning. Feels very very very weird. Hurts a little bit.

And happy news Grandma got her hearing aides today and they're working. She can hear real good now :-D

I just saw the season finale of Smallville and all I can say is 'Holy S***'!

Holiday

Well Happy Memorial Day. We didn't do much this weekend, just put flowers out at the cemeteries.

I think I'm finally getting over this cold. And Grandma seems to be doing better too.

*sighs* My man was on tv last night. He was so hot. We love each other so much.

Well we're back from vacation. Actually I've been back for awhile, but I wasn't able to get on here till now.

VACATION NEWS

Okay, Vacation was great. Nashville, Indiana and Nashville, Tennessee were amazing. I'll try to get some pictures up asap.

There was this great little theater in Nashville, Indiana called The Coachlight Theater. They put on amazing shows there. Truly amazing!

The Grand Ole' Opry in Nashville, Tennessee was amazing too. There was a wax mueseum right near our hotel, but we didn't get a chance to go through it.

After Vacation

On our way home from Vacation, my Grandma started getting sick. This was on a sat. Come Sunday, we took her to the emergency room, and the hospital admitted her for 3 days.

She's doing better now.

Plus during those 3 days, I came down with a bad cold.

I'm getting better now. It's put near gone.

I bought myself a new camera yesterday. LOL I probably shouldn't have spent the money, but this new camera should last me at least until I'm my mom's age, if not longer.

So that's why I haven't posted anything since getting back from vacation.

Vacation

This will probably be my last post for a bit. Gonna be on vacation next week. Without a comp. *pulls at hair* I might just go insane. LOL

Haunted By The Past

Well as the title of this post says, today I'm haunted by the past. Two years ago today, at 2:00am, I lost my house and everything I owned, except for a few photos, to a fire.

So yes, today I am haunted by the past.

It was a lot colder on this day two years ago, than it was today.

No, no one was hurt in the fire, at least not physically. Though there was hurting.....still is.

I feel sick today.

Well the hearing aid guy couldn't test grandma today. Gotta have the doctor check her hears first or something like that. So now we gotta go back next friday at 8am.

Well the ground was covered in snow yesterday morning, but by yesterday afternoon it was all gone. But it was snowing off and on this morning too. Didn't amount to anything. There's no snow on the ground. But according to the weather report it might snow pretty good this Wed.

News

Well my cousin's dog had to have surgery yesterday. I guess their dog, had been eatting all kinds of stuff, like a sock, etc.

The vet had to opperate yesterday to remove all the crap the dog ate. There's pictures of what was pulled out of the dog on my cousin's website. max-stitch.com You do have to register in order to view the pictures.

Because of poor Max getting sick, my cousin and his girlfriend weren't able to come for Easter.

IT SNOWED OVER NIGHT! THERE'S SNOW ON THE GROUND! AAAHHHHHHHH!

Well I talked to my BF last night, and he cleared everything up about Sat. Night. I knew I was probably worrying for nothing, but that's just how I am.

And wouldn't ya know it. The snow gets all gone and what does it today? Snow, of course. Didn't amount to anything, though. But that's not unusual for this time of here where I am.

Broken Heart

I saw my BF with his wife last night, supposedly his soon to be ex-wife. I don't know what to do or think.

I feel like I'm dying inside.

I know I should try talking to him, but I'm afraid to call him.

I don't know what to do.

All I do know is, that if this wasn't real, or he's gone back to her, I'll have no reason to go on living.

Weather

Well it's rained practically all day today, and it's cold out. I guess there's a chance we could get snow sometime this coming week.

I had the worst craving for pasta tonight. I went to Fazolies, got dinner and took it home. When I sat down to eat, I saw they hadn't given me the meatballs they charged me for. grrrrr.

It's too far away and it was raining hard, otherwise I would have gone back. I guess it's not that big of a loss, the meatballs were only $1.00. LOL it's just the principal of the matter, I wanted meatballs damn it! lol

Had lunch with my Uncle from out of state yesterday.

More About The Weather

Well 99% of the snow is gone from all the yards.

We had our first big thunder & lightening storm of the year today. Even had a tornado warning too! And it's way too early for those!

Storm seems to be over now though. Thank goodness.

Well we got our first thunderstorm of the year. Thunder was so loud it rattled the windows and the lightening that was with it was damn bright too.

Well I got a bunch of stuff to do for my cousin again.

I got a start on it today, by getting some pictures resized for website.

But I still got a long way to go yet.

Well the snow is all most gone.

Mom Final

Well it was a migraine with an aura for sure.

She's 100% fine now, like nothing happened.

Thank God for that.

LOL now I need to unwind, I got real wound up this weekend.

Mom part 3

Well we took mom out of town today and between the doctors there and some research I did here at home, we think we finally know what's wrong with her.

She's got a Migraine with an Aura.

Migraines are pretty nasty to begin with, but then when you add these aura things
(ie vertigo) it makes it worse.

I'm beat. Grandma litterally worried herself sick about this, so I had her and Mom
to look after today. I'm totally wiped out.

Mom Part 2

Well we took Mom into see her regular doctor today, and she said it's Vertigo too.
But we're just not happy with how their treating it here. So tomorrow we're
taking Mom somewhere else.

The doctor gave Mom some medication but it put her right to sleep.
She can't go to work if her medication puts her right to sleep.

Mom

Well mom's been feeling kinda weird yesterday and today. So this afternoon she finally decided to go into the ER.

The Doctor believed from his tests that she has Vertigo.

She's gotta go in to see her regular doctor asap to find out for sure.

We where about 4 - 5 hours in the frickin' ER this afternoon!

That's just nuts!

Updates

Well the snow is finally starting to melt some.

My shoulder is getting better finally.

Was sick last night though, but I seem to be okay now.

Had a fight with my mom last night, which is why I ended up feeling sick all night long.

Snowstorm

We're getting dumped on! It's been snowing like mad all weekend. And with my shoulder laid up I can't help blow or shovel snow. Luckyly for us, a neighbor of ours blowed us out. And a neighbor of my Grandma's did Grandma's sidewalks for her.

Thank goodness for those neighbors. With this bum shoulder I would never have been able to help with the snow.

For Cryin' Out Loud

Somehow, while sleeping, I slightly dislocated my shoulder! :-| Don't ask me how.

Family Dinner

Well it wasn't tooo bad last night. My cousin's jokes were somewhat x rated...but other than that, it really wasn't too bad.

Family

Well the weird members of my family are coming over for dinner tonight. So this afternoon and tonight should be interesting. Very interesting.

Exploding Soda Cans

Cans of soda are exploding.
We keep our extra 12 packs of soda in the garage (which is attached to the house).
Well the soda has froze so solid and hard in this below 0 temps, that the soda cans are actually exploding.

There's frozen soda everywhere!

Freezing & Decorations

Well I'm freezing my butt of, it's below 0.

Most of the Xmas decorations are down and most of the Valentine's Day decorations are up. LOL so we're making progress. LOL

I'm sooo sleepy right now. *yawns* I have no idea why.

*sobs* I miss my BF sooooooo much. But I know we'll be together soon.

Deer & Xmas Decorations

Well the "Stalker" deer seems to have gone away. Didn't see any tracks last night or the night before.

And we're finally getting our Xmas decorations down! YAY! LOL

Putting up the Valentines Day decorations as I go too.

I sure hope my bf is able to come be with me on Valentines Days.

Deer

Okay this first part is a couple days late, and I'm sorry about that.

On Tuesday night, I was layin' in bed, right; lights out, tryin' to go to sleep. When I saw this shadow coming from outside my bedroom window.

Well I figured I was seein' things. I blinked a couple times, shadow was still there. I closed my eyes for a couple minutes, still there. LOL So then I screamed.

Well the shadow disappeared and never came back. The next day (Wed) I went out by my window and found a bunch of deer tracks. So the shadow I had seen was it's antlers.

Okay now onto todays post.

So I'm outside shoveling, today, right? And guess what I see, more deer tracks by my bedroom window again.

But this time the deer jumped my grandma's car, crossed the yard, and then jumped the fence, to leave. LOL instead of just walking down the driveway.

I swear to God the deer jumped her car. The tracks went right up to her car, and picked up again on the other side. No tracks in front or in back of the car.

Weird huh?

If I find deer tracks outside my window tomorrow, lol I'm moving to another room!

Snow

We got dumped on today! Damn it snowed all day long. Now I'm gonna have to shovel and blow snow tomorrow.

Second Xmas

Well I finally got to have Xmas with my dad, and my youngest brother and his family. My other brother and one of my nephews couldn't come, they both had to work. So I'm disappointed about that....but I understand.

But we had a good time today.

Late Xmas & Brother

Well my brother is doing fine now. He has to take it easy for a little while though.

And Speaking of him, we're finally gonna get together tomorrow to celebrate Xmas. We weren't able to at Xmas time cause the kids and my sister-in-law were all sick.

LOL We'll finally be able to take down our Xmas tree LOL.

Weather & Birthday

Well it snowed like crazy last night and early this morning. We got at least 2 inches. And it's supposed to snow again tonight; I hope it doesn't.

Today is my BF's BDY! *smack* Happy Birthday Baby!

Littler Brother Part 2 continued

Well my Dad just called. He said that the doctors didn't find any blood clots in my brother's leg.

My brother says his leg still hurts like hell, but I guess not finding anything is a good thing.

Little Brother part 2

Well the hospital let my brother go home yesterday. But tonight he's back in the ER again.

I guess their checking him for blood clots.

Little Brother

Well my youngest brother had emergency surgery last night or this morning. LOL It was around midnight.

He had to have his appendex out.

He's gonna be okay I guess. He sounded good on the phone this afternoon. He wanted some real food which is always a good sign.

Grandma's Cell Phone

Well I spent this afternoon, programing in the phone numbers she wanted. Downloading ringtones, and then showing Grandma how to use her cell phone. She hasn't completely got the hang of it yet, but she's getting there fast. I'm really amazed. Now don't get me wrong, my grandma is a smart lady, and I know it. It's just to think that she could master a cell phone, boggles me. LOL

First post of 2007

Well this is my first post for 2007.

What snow we had is disappearing here. Naturally it would, we've had temps in the 40's around here. Heck for Xmas, by my Aunt's house, they had no snow what so ever! None!

In other shocking news, my grandma announced yesterday that she wished she had a cell phone! My 84 year old grandma that is. LOL so today we got her one. Now I have the fun part of teaching her how to use it. LOL

In blog news, I'll be putting up a new layout soon. LOL soon as I find one I like. LOL.
